Analysis Paralysis
The inability to pull the trigger on a valid setup because you keep analysing, adding indicators, and waiting for more confirmation.
Analysis paralysis is procrastination wearing a research costume. You add a fifth indicator "just to confirm," read one more analyst opinion, look at one more timeframe — and the setup you identified at 9:30am has moved 3% by 11am while you were still "getting ready."
More information past a certain point does not reduce uncertainty — it amplifies noise and creates contradictory signals that make action feel riskier. Waiting for certainty in markets is waiting for something that does not exist.
Fix it by limiting yourself to a maximum of three confluent signals before entering. Define what "enough" looks like in your trading plan before the session starts, so you are not making that decision in real-time under pressure.
