Spinning Top

A small real body with long wicks on both sides — buyers and sellers battled but neither gained ground — an indecision candle.

Card view

A Spinning Top has a short real body (bullish or bearish) centred between equal-length upper and lower wicks. The wicks show that both bulls and bears made moves during the session; the small body shows the net result was nearly nothing.

Like the Doji, context drives its significance. After a long trend, a Spinning Top warns that momentum is fading. In a range, it's often just chop. Best treated as a caution flag rather than a standalone signal.
