Three Drives Pattern
Three symmetrical price drives toward a reversal point, each drive an equal Fibonacci extension — signals exhaustion of the dominant trend.
Formula
Drive 2 = 127.2% extension of correction 1; Drive 3 = 127.2% extension of correction 2
The Three Drives Pattern consists of three successive pushes in the same direction, each reaching a Fibonacci extension of the previous correction. The three drives are approximately equal in size and duration, creating a rhythmic, exhaustion structure.
The reversal triggers at the completion of the third drive. Entry is at or after the D point (the third drive termination), with a stop beyond the third drive's extreme.
- Drive 2 = 127.2% extension of correction 1; Drive 3 = 127.2% extension of correction 2.
- Symmetry in both price and time strengthens the signal.
